Tricia has been an instructor with YOGAthletix for over 5 years now. She holds a myriad of certifications including a Bachelor of fine arts in Dance from Ryerson University, master trainer of barre, yoga, pilates, spin, TRX and myofacial release, and she is a diastasis expert specializing in post-natal rehab. Tricia teaches all styles of classes at YOGAthletix and applies her extensive theoretical and practical experience when teaching. Her classes are always challenging and demanding but with her positive, welcoming personality, and constant motivational encouragement, she makes you believe it’s easy, and you always leave her classes having accomplished more than you thought you could.
In her spare time Trisha enjoys spending as much time as possible outside. Some of her favourite jaunts are to Cape Breton or the Niagara Region, where she can hike or hang out with her husband Nick, her son Wesley and her dog Stella. If she’s in the city you can find her at the beach, in any season, or enjoying a patio with friends and family. Even though Tricia’s workouts are tough, and will push your limits, she’s also a firm believer in everything in moderation - including moderation. This is especially true when it comes to popcorn, which she enjoys eating in bed. Tricia brings energy, focus, and a deep understanding of body awareness to each class. She gives you a tiny taste of anatomical background, so that in every workout you learn something new.
